Taylor Swift recently launched her highly anticipated 'Eras Tour', a 52-date spectacle that includes special guests Paramore, Phoebe Bridgers, HAIM, Girl in Red, beabadobee, MUNA, Gracie Abrams, Owenn and GAYLE. This comes after her tenth studio album, "Midnights", was released in October 2022 and topped the charts. It made history by becoming the first album to take all 10 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and won the Best Music Video Grammy Award for “All Too Well”.
The tour has been met with high demand, leading to lawsuits from Swift fans claiming fraud and antitrust violations after Ticketmaster prematurely cancelled ticket sales due to “extraordinarily high demands”. The case was returned to arbitration after a trial in Washington, D.C.
At State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, Swift kicked off the 'Eras Tour' with a performance that lasted for more than three hours and ten minutes. She sang on about forty songs from her ten albums including : 'Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince ', 'You Need to Calm Down ', 'You Belong With Me ', 'Love Story ', 'Willow ', 'Enchanted ', 'Champagne Problems ', 'Don't Blame Me ', 'Delicate ', 'Enchanted', “22”, “We She had a stunning stage presence and changed outfits multiple times, interaction with the audience and utilizing the stage to her advantage. The show ended with a grand finale of fireworks and confetti shooting off the ceilings as she sang her final song, “Karma”.
Taylor Swift is one of the biggest names in music and her 'Eras Tour' is no exception. She will be joined by other major musicians such as Beyoncé, Adele, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Billy Joel with Stevie Nicks and Madonna for the biggest concert tours of 2023.
